2024

  • Chrissy Jensen successfully defended her master’s thesis titled Alcohol Use as a Moderator of the Association between Impulsivity and Suicidal Ideation among College Students
  • Evan Basting received a National Research Service Award (NRSA) F31 fellowship through the National Institute on Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism, which will help fund his dissertation project titled Examining Proximal Associations between Minority Stress, PTSD Symptoms, and Alcohol Use among Bi+ College Students with Trauma Histories
  • Jackie Sullivan received the Deborah Rhatigan Award in Women’s Health ($500.00) for her project titled Investigating the Intergenerational Transmission of Pediatric Anxiety among Mothers and Children using Neurocognitive, Attentional, and Behavioral Outcomes
  • Evan Basting received a Spring Celebration Poster Award ($75.00) for his poster presentation titled Patterns of Adverse Childhood Experiences and their Associations with PTSD Symptoms and Compulsive Behaviors among Patients in Residential Treatment for Substance Use Disorders at the Psychology Department’s annual Spring Celebration
